Why Bother?
Nothing to celebrate
When they always win
Nothing to aim for
When they always win
When whatever you do
Will never replace
The ones
That will win
The opinion of the people
Is the constant
Drip feed
That you are where you are
And where you are
Is
And where you’ll always be
Is
Borrowed from
The open mind and eye
Who saw their Church
For what it was
And wanted change
Women’s rights
Are human rights
Arthur Ashe
A credit to his race
The human race
The scum will inherit
The earth
Have no doubt
God knows what will happen
How true
She was there
Is there
And will be there
So where
Am I?
Bothered
Hamstrung
Middle of the middle
Quagmire
Stymied
Writing poetry prayer
Oh Good Lord Guide me
Why Bother?
