Cat curled

Spotlight on

Concentrated sleep

Sleep

Cat curled and concentrated.

A silent crack tracked

Ears pricked alert

To spring.

One look slow blink

Assessed tongue recurled

Flattened fur and daggers furled

Settles

To rapt attention

Of cat curled

In concentrated

Sleep –

Due warning given
