Cupcakes and butterflies and fairy cakes

Baking the changes

We used to call them

Butterfly cakes,

Not wasting much

From teaspoon cut

But fashion wings

And place divided

Beautified ,

In childlike eyes,

From fairy cakes.

(And what do they do with the cut out bits these days?)
